Barbara uses the Porron

Careful! Notice that the wine we were tasting here is the "Rosado" which was one of the Cavas, a sparkling wine. Barbara spilled nary a drop, owing to her her awesome hand/eye coordination, and great desire for the free wine. While you get used to this method...I'd stick to whites!

The glass porron looks like it was copied from an Egyptian tomb, but functions sort of like a beer bong. It's interesting how different cultures handle the picnic transportation of food and wine. You have to be willing to look foolish if you drink form a porron. I guess this is part of its charm.

Foolish is is subjective my dear G, and while perhaps in the eyes of the beholder we do look foolish, fear of that end would have kept the world in a dark place. Grab a porron, fill it with some white, and drink from the cup of shared goods and grape. Looking foolish together makes foolish coolish
